ZennoPoster 7.9.1.0 11.08.2026
ZennoPoster 7.9.1.0 (11.08.2026) — native browser window
ZennoPoster 7.9.1 is out.
The headline update is a new browser mode with a native window: faster and more accurate rendering, and it fixes known issues from previous versions. Plus MCP improvements, proxy traffic accounting from the project, flexible ZennoBrowser profile generation, and a large set of fixes. You can update from your personal account.
Added
New browser mode: native window or the familiar embedded view — your choice
This is the major rendering update we wrote about in 7.9.0.0. Previously the instance was always drawn inside the ProjectMaker window; now for Chromium and ChromiumFromZB you can use a native browser window — it is faster and more accurate in rendering.
Why this is needed. The native window fixes the known rendering issues from 7.9.0 — delays when opening the window and preview, flickering, and artifacts at screen scales other than 100%. If you ran into this, turn the mode on in [Settings → Instance](../../../ProjectMaker/ProjectMaker Settings/Instance_PM.mdx). The familiar embedded view stays the default and works as before.
- Mode switch. Settings → Instance now has the “Use external native browser” switch. The default is the familiar embedded view. The setting is saved and applied to new instances without restarting the program.
- Browser window snapping. The window “sticks” to ProjectMaker and follows it — it does not get lost among other windows and stays at hand. The chosen snap side is remembered and restored on the next launch.
- Context menu of the native browser matches the familiar one. All tools work the same as in the embedded view.
- User-action recording also works in the native browser and supports the same set of actions as embedding.
- “Wait for user action” — right in the native browser. In native-window mode, waiting for user action is integrated directly into the browser window. This also works in ZennoPoster for Chromium and ChromiumFromZB.
What we are still finishing in the native window (coming closer to the next releases): we plan to move the mode switch to a more visible and convenient place.
Chromium browser updated to version 150.0.7871.115.
Project MCP: create, save, and run a project.
Project MCP now has tools to create a new project, save it, and run it (the equivalent of the “From start” button). We continue moving toward full ZennoPoster control via MCP.
Details: MCP Setup · AI Assistant.
Proxy control with a volume limit — from the project.
ZennoPoster counts inbound and outbound traffic in bytes per proxy: both for the browser (Chromium/ChromiumFromZB, including WebSocket traffic; cached responses are not counted) and for HTTP requests. HTTP traffic is counted at the HTTP Executor level, so all request cubes are included regardless of the transfer method — regular, alternative, or TLS.
The API now has the ZennoPoster.ProxyTrafficInfo object with methods to get traffic information for each proxy used during the program session.
“Create ZennoBrowser profiles” cube: full profile-generation settings.
The “Default” mode has been reworked and renamed to “Configure profile”: generation parameters can now be set as flexibly as in the ZennoBrowser UI — without leaving ProjectMaker.
“Get ZennoBrowser profiles” cube: output format selection.
As before — full JSON into a variable, or only profile ids into a list (same idea as profile creation).
Cookie import: time format is detected automatically.
The expirationDate field arrives in different formats — Unix time in seconds and milliseconds, fractional and negative values, WebKit timestamp. Previously this could make import fail and cookies had to be prepared by hand; now ZennoPoster parses all common formats itself.
HTTP cubes: “Error on empty response” option.
GET, POST, and the other request actions now have a checkbox: when enabled, an empty response body fails the action.
Improved recording of clicks and text input for Chromium and ChromiumFromZB: clickable-element detection is broader (tags, ARIA roles, handlers, cursor:pointer), and Enter keypresses are recorded — for example submitting a Bing or Google search when there is no “Search” button.
“Center the canvas on the selected action when switching mode” setting.
When enabled, switching “Without browser” / “With browser” automatically centers the canvas on the selected action.
“Show selected action” button in the bottom-right corner of the canvas — centers the canvas on the chosen action.
Fixed
Browser and instances
- Fixed issues with opening and closing instance windows in ZennoPoster.
- Instance preview updates in ZennoPoster are no longer affected by browser actions — for example text input and other long operations.
- The inspected-element highlight no longer drifts when the native browser window is resized.
- Fixed ProjectMaker startup in native-window mode: the browser window appeared on screen before ProjectMaker itself opened.
- Fixed mobile profiles: if the browser profile was set to a mobile platform, profiles stopped being issued or failed validation, and the project ran indefinitely with errors in the log.
- Geodata and time-zone emulation now use both IPv4 and IPv6 — ZennoPoster correctly emulates data for IPv6 proxies.
Network, HTTP, and TLS
- Fixed an issue where a POST request to an image through the TLS client returned a load error, while the alternative method returned 200. Both methods now behave the same.
Memory and optimization
- Fixed a memory leak in the HTTP Executor process when requesting images.
- Optimized file handling: lists and tables bound to files no longer stay in memory after the thread finishes. Previously, long multi-thread runs filled memory with unused data.
AI agent (MCP)
- Fixed execution of some projects created by the AI agent via MCP. The symptom: only the first cube ran — actions sat in a group but behaved as standalone, and rebuilding the group did not help. Such projects now run from start to finish.
- Fixed configuration of the “Work with databases” cube via MCP: when MySqlClient was requested, the agent set SqlClient. All data providers are now set to the ones requested.
ProjectMaker and UI
- Fixed issues that reset ProjectMaker dock panels.
- Fixed hangs and crashes when switching between requests in the Traffic window and working with request-property tabs.
- Localized the search box in the ProjectMaker Traffic monitor.
- The GPU indicator has been removed from the ZennoPoster system-load bar: GPU monitoring is temporarily disabled, and showing an empty metric is pointless. When the feature returns, the indicator will return as well.
Integrations and modules
- Fixed various ZP7 ↔️ ZennoBrowser integration reconnect issues.
- Fixed launching a ZennoBrowser profile with a socks5 proxy in the integration — previously the launch timed out.
- The “Create ZennoBrowser profiles” cube now creates the profile in the specified folder — previously the profile could end up in the donor profile’s folder.
- Fixed the default address for the 5sim SMS module.
API and C#
- ZennoPoster.Ftp methods now report errors correctly: previously a failed FTP operation still followed the “green” branch, and the error appeared only in the log.
Installation and licenses
- Fixed silent installation of ZennoPoster (including
--activateHardware=false). An already activated license on working hardware is no longer reset when that argument is used.
